Keeping dangerous sexual predators off school grounds is important. Fortunately, there are already laws in place which do that. But that didn’t stop Sen. Connie Leyva, D-Chino, from trying to score easy political points by prohibiting sex offenders from schools. Full Article

I was under the impression SB26 was stop. What happened?
The bill slightly waters down existing law. Both are wrong. Its like tell a guy that has paid his debt to society after probation or parole well instead of cutting off your whole leg ex post facto we’re only going to cut off your foot. Both are wrong as Janice states above.
